This beautifully modernised 17th Century holiday cottage enjoys a unique setting at the head of the magnificent Kentmere Valley. On three sides rise the imposing Lake District Eastern Fells, whilst to the south the views stretch out far to the River Kent and the mere that Kentmere is named after.
Heads Cottage is found at the end of a narrow private lane, surrounded by its own pretty enclosed garden in a quiet and peaceful position, isolated and hidden in atmosphere yet remarkably accessible to motorists from all parts of the country.

Heads Cottage makes an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and take a relaxing holiday amongst beautiful Lake District countryside.
There is a spacious lounge with dining area, TV, cosy woodburning fire and small library of books, DVDs and games. A lovely place to relax, with beautiful Lake District views to the East and the West of Kentmere Valley. Bring your binoculars to observe the wide variety of birds in the garden or further afield to the local farming activity on the hills. There is a dining kitchen, with electric aga to give you the real cottage experience.
There are 2 bedrooms: a double and a twin bedded room an upstairs bathroom with bath and shower over the bath, toilet and basin. Pillows, duvets, linen and towels are provided.
Services include oil-fired central heating, woodburning stove, TV, DVD player, CD player, books, DVDs and games. Fuel and power are included in the rent. The kitchen offers an electric aga cooker, large microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. There is a self-contained property next door, which is occasionally used by the owners. Heads Cottage has an enclosed garden with garden chairs and table as well as off road parking for up to two cars.
